Always a great experience at the Egyptian Theatre - comedy, musicals, concerts and Sundance - I've yet to see something I did not like. Highly recommend this beautiful venue!
The performances have inspired me to want to get involved as well.
I would only suggest when attending to maybe bring a jacket. I have found myself a bit cold in there twice depending on seats and how packed it is.
The theater has a large stage as well as an array of screens for multimedia productions. All seating areas of the theater have great views of the stage. I am very happy that we have such a great local theater with excellent local support, local adult & youth talent, and management.

The Egyptian is a great theatre featuring local talent as well as both local and non local music venues. Recently we attended Park City Follies, and Emma, which was put on by youth theater performers. Both venues were nothing short of fantastic.
But the Egyptian Theatre is a great time and a great experience! Also a great community involvement especially for the kids in Park City.
Nice set up for a small theater. Good variety of music and live theater performances. They serve beer, but no wine. Most recognized venue of the Sundance Film Festival, located on Historic Main St.
Built in the 1890's, this theatre has a lot of charm as well as history. The original theater seating has been replaced with the more modern comfy seats, ,some of the old seats are being used at the No Name Saloon in their waiting area! The venue's have an intermission, and the "snack bar", is literally a bar, with a good selection of beers as well as wine.
I am just amazed every time I attend. My favorite so far is their play "Thriller" (nothing actually to do with Michael Jackson's Thriller)
