2. I have never seen such a clean wound. I have no idea how she sealed it; there do not appear to be stitches, but it has not bled at all, despite my failed efforts to keep my dog from running around like crazy. Hyper is kind of his default state.

3. She, and her staff, were so sweet that my buddy went with them willingly - I wasn't at all worried that he would be scared.

1. This required removal of his dew claw down to the bone. Rather than putting him under general anesthesia, she sedated him and gave him a nerve block so she could work on it. This is far safer for any animal, and far easier to recover from.

I was house-sitting in Park City when my dog needed emergency treatment for a broken-and-infected dew claw, so I gave White Pine a shot. Dr. Burchett was so good that I am considering making them my regular vet despite the 45 minute drive that would entail!!

I have been taking my cats to White Pine since 2002. Dr McDonald is an excellent doctor. He takes great care of my cats and with his help my cat with kidney disease lived 4 more years. He's very innovative. Dr McDonald also has a great memory and an excellent staff of doctors, medical assistant and office staff. I highly recommend White Pine!

Seriously though, very professional and interested in each individual pet’s health to provide the best care necessary. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been taking my pets to White Pine for a long time (14+ years), and appreciate the respect and compassion the staff show me and and my pets. I appreciate the tireless research and consultations the vets at White Pine do with other vets across the country to ensure that they are giving my pets the best possible care. I also really appreciate the responsiveness of the clinic to phone calls and emails - I am extremely happy and know my pets are receiving excellent care! All of the vets at the clinic are amazing!

The best veterinary clinic I have ever used. The staff is always cheerful, patient and helpful. The Dr's never make you feel rushed and that your animal is their only priority. They work together to make sure the best care is provided. What I appreciate more than anything is I am called by the Dr after any surgery (even dentals) to inform me how my pet is doing. I also have friends who drive over 45 minutes to them for their pets needs.

5. They followed up the next day with me to make sure he was doing well.

6. Thanks to the above-mentioned avoidance of general anesthesia - and a complete lack of surprise add-on charges - this cost me a third of what a similar injury added up to at my old vet.

We have been with White Pines for three years now and they are the best! Along with needing regular checkups, and immunizations, my dogs tend to get torn nails and porcupine quills on our outdoorsy adventures, way more often than I’d like them to. But the staff at White Pines are not judgy at all (I’ve been to other clinics that are). They know us all very well and we feel very well cared for. I think one of my dogs secretly likes it more there than at home with me at this point!

4. She provided adequate pain control. My dog is a pit bull. Thanks to the breed reputation, he is often under-medicated for pain. She provided plenty of Rimadyl to get him through the week.

Thanks Dr. Burchett & Staff!!
